A Wonderful Experience in Mombasa, Kenya

I had a wonderful experience in Mombasa, I learned a lot about the Kenyan healthcare systems and how a hospital operates with limited resources, which was my goal. I also got a lot of hands on experience in OBGYN, which was fantastic.

The nurses, Clinical Officers, its interns especially were great teachers. All of our support staff at our site were fantastic. They did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and safe. They also made sure we knew what activities were available for us in the area.

I really loved the Swahili lessons and the extra curricular activities, especially our trips to Pentrose Primary School. I am sad to leave and ready to see more of Kenya and Africa.
