Anjali Reddy and Kristin Soreide are the Elective Africa's Pre-Dental Ambassadors. The two students from The University of Michigan completed their Pre-Dental program in August 2013 after volunteering at the Mt. Meru Regional Hospital in Arusha , Tanzania. They were able to see firsthand how procedures such as injections, extraction, scaling and the production of orthodontic appliances are carried out through shadowing the local dentist.
